Liberia National Olympic Committee

Directors

Established in 1955

The Liberia National Olympic Committe became officially recognized in 1955 in order to promote and develop diverse sports within the country.

We attended our first Olympic Game in 1956 in Melbourne, Australia. Since its inception the organization has attended over a dozen Games.

We’ve primarily competed in athletics, and have sent athletes to compete in boxing as well.

Our national teams compete in a variety of sports ranging from surfing and taekwondo to table tennis and more.
